Top event organizer seeks Thai trader’s attendance in Light+Building 2010

One of the top event organizer in the world that is based in Germany has expressed hopes that businessmen in Thailand will visit Frankfurt, Germany, to participate in the Light+Building 2010 exhibition of architecture and electrical technology for homes and building.

The event is organised by Germany’s leading trade fair organiser, Messe Frankfurt and will take place in April 2010.

“Light+Building is the world’s biggest architectural and technological trade fair, and it’s been held every two years since 2000.

It is the centre for latest innovations in lighting, electrical engineering and home and building automation for architects, engineers, interior designers and all related trades and professions.

In past events, more than 1,000 companies have offered their products to over 100,000 visitors,” said Iris Jeglitza-Moshage, Messe Frankfurt’s vice president.

“Looking at the property market, it seems unlikely that it will see much growth this year, but companies must be ready for economic recovery and returning demand, said Nikom Lertmallikaporn, president of International Promotion and Exhibition (IPEX), the organiser’s representative in Thailand.
“At Light+Building, Thai companies will see the electrical technologies that will lead to developing more comfortable, convenient and energy-saving homes and buildings.

It will also introduce the latest advances in automation to improve efficiency and economy of resources,” said Nikom.

Light+Building 2010 will be open in Frankfurt from April 11-16 on a total area of 240,000sqm. In addition to innovations in electrical systems and automation in homes and building, it will feature energy-efficient system solutions for buildings and electronic installations, network technology, design-oriented electrical equipment and trends for the future home.
